Mehran University Of Engineering & Technology or MUET is the government-owned educational institute providing quality education programs to the students. The institute was established in the year 1976 as the campus of University of Sindh but later it was declared as a separate University and even ranked as one of the leading institutes in HEC ranking of 2016. The main aim of the institute is to equip their students with the best of the knowledge and produce individuals who are both talented and professionals, The institute provides all facilities to its students and has very competent and experienced faculty, that is doing its utmost effort to develop and enhance students academic and professional skills. The insttute currently has 16 departments, Architecture Engineering, Basic Sciences And Related Studies, Bio-Medical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, City And Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy And Materials Engineering, Mining Petroleum And Natural Gas Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering and Textile Engineering.
