Bahauddin Zakria University is the public research institute offering multi-disciplinary educational programs to its students. The institute was established in the year 1975 as the University of Multan and renamed as the Bahauddin Zakria University in the year 1979. The institute has multiple sub-campuses and one such campus is in Layah, Punjab. The main aim of the institute is to provide best education facilities to its students and help them to develop and enhance their skills, by keeping a close connection with the industry so the students can overcome hardships and challenges during their professional life. The institute is offering multiple undergraduate and graduate programs and also has a college of Veterinary Science offering different 12-month diploma courses. The institute currently offers programs in various fields such as Agriculture, DVM, Psychology, Business Administration, Economics, Sociology and English.
