Doctor Abdul Qadir Polytechnic Institute is the government-owned institute that provides technical training to its students. The Institute is situated in Chunian, Kasur. The institute was established as a part of government larger project with the name "Punjab Skills Development Funds" or PSDF. The Institute main aim is to facilitate individuals by providing the best technical training under the supervision of highly skilled and experienced teaching staff. The Institute offers different diploma and technical training programs such as Civil Draughtsmen, Computer Applications, Electrition, Industrial Electrition, Plumber and Quantity Surveyor. These courses are of mainly a few months.
