Federal Urdu University Of Arts Science & Technology is the government-owned higher education institute offering different educational programs to its students. The institute was established in the year 1949 as the Baba-e-Urdu Molvi Abdul college in order to promote Urdu language but later in the year 2002 it was given the status of University. The institute has a campus in Islamabad and Karachi and considered as the leading higher education institute providing quality education in different disciplines including the Urdu Language. The institute main aim is to highlight the importance of nationalism by promoting the Importance of Urdu language and produce individuals who could play a key role in the development of the Urdu language. The institute currently has 7 faculties, faculty of Law, Pharmacy, Islamic Studies, Science & Technology, Arts, Education and B.Ad Com & Economics.
