Government technical and vocational centre is the government based institute that helps people to have professional studies as well as diplomas. The Institute main campus is located in Abbottabad city. The Government technical and vocational centre has two different campuses specified for male and females. The Institute for woman emphasize on teaching skills to the woman which they can utilize to earn some amount and at the mean time look after their children and family. The Institute offers different courses for women, such as dress making course, beauty therapy and house keeping manager courses. Most of the courses are for a short period of time mainly for 6 months.
