Government Vocational training institute or GVTI is the government-owned project with the aim of establishing technical institution all over the country and encourage youth to avail technical studies so they can contribute in country's economy and feed their family members. The Institute has various centres and one such centre is located in Ahmed Pur east area of Bahawalpur which is designated to women only. The Institute works in coordination with different foreign NGO's which provide training sessions to the GVTI teaching faculty. The Institute offers different diploma programs and training programs to the students and constitutes very skilled and professional teaching staff. The courses GTTC offers are CERT in Beautician, Tailoring and Computer Applications.
