Government Vocational Training Institute for women is the government-owned vocational institute offering different courses to the local women. The institute has centres in different parts of Pakistan and one such centre is in Choubara, Layyah. The institute provides all basic facilities to the students and excellent learning environment, and its main aim is to empower local women by providing them training of different skill-based program and help them to develop and enhance their professional skills. The institute functions under TEVTA(Punjab) and offers different courses such as Beautiicna, Tailoring, Computer Application, Fashion designing and some other relevant courses.
