Government Vocational Training Institute for women is the government-led project initiated by "TEVTA" a federal governing body that oversees the operations of all government-owned technical institutes. These vocational centres are solely for women and established in various cities of Pakistan. One such city is Fort Abbass, Bahawalnagar. The institute has a very skilled, professional and experienced teaching staff that does its best to provide the best training and offer an excellent learning environment to its students. The main reason for establishing these institutes is to empower local women and provide them with better-earning opportunities, by offering various skill-based programs. The institute offers courses and diploma programs such as Computer Applications, Tailoring, Dress Designing, Dress Making and Beautician.
