Government Vocational Training Institute for women is the government-owned educational institute dedicated to the local women. The institute has centres in different parts of Pakistan and one such centre is in Sohawa, Jehlum. The main aim of the institute is to empower local women by providing them with quality education services and enhancing their skills, so they can generate income for themselves. The institute offers different skill-based training programs such as CERT- Beautician, Computer Operator, Dress designing & Making, Embroidery, Tailoring, and some other relevant courses.
