Institute Of Cost And Management Accountant Of Pakistan or ICMAP is the professional body offering various qualifications and management accountancy training to number of students. The institute was established in the year 1951 and was given statuary status in the year 1966. The institute is the only institute that offers cost and management accounting courses and currently hosts more than 15000 students. ICMAP is a member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). The institute main aim is to maintain the highest standards of cost and m, management accounting education in the country and produce highly capable and professional individuals from the institute. The ICMAP established its research centre in the year 1989, to complement the research committee work.
