Institute Of Space Technology is the government-owned eduactional institute offering a variety of Undergraduate and Graduate programs mainly about the field of aerospace, astronomy, engeeniring and astronautics. The Insitute is partnered with Beihang University and the University of Surrey. The Insitute was established in the year 2002 and has certified ISO management standards since 2008. The institute main aim is to foster intellectual and economic vitality through research and bringing more innovation in the world of science. The institute provides all basic facilities to its students and facilitates them to develop and enhance their academic and professional skills. The institute is situated in Islamabad and currently has 7 departments and has one national Centre for remote sensing & Geo-Informatics. The educational departments of institute are Department of Electrical Engeenirng, Aeronautics & Astronautics, Material Sciences & Engeeniring, Mechanical Engeenirng, Space Science, Humanities & Science, Applied mathematics & Statistics.
