Jinnah Sindh Medical University is the government-owned educational institute providing education services in the field of Health & Medical Sciences. The institute was established in the year 1973 as the Sindh Medical College, later in the year 2012, it was given the status of full-fledged University. The University is highly reputable institute and its associated with some other prominent medical colleges too. The main aim of the institute is to become the leading medical institute and improve health facilities through better education, leadership and community services. The institute has very skilled and experianced teaching staff and provides all state of the art facilities to its students. The University currently has 7 subsidiary institutes such as Sindh Medical College, APPNA Institute of Public Health, Insitute of Pharmaceutical Science, Institute of Health & Business Management, Sindh Insitute of Oral Health Science, College of Nursing and College of Family Medicine.
