Liaquat University Of Medical And Health Sciences or LUMHS is the renowned and well reputed Public University of Pakistan. The institute was established in the year 1881 as a medical school and later in 1952, it was declared as the medical college. Finally, in the year 2001, it became a full-fledged degree-awarding educational institute. The institute is situated in the city of Jamshoro, Sindh and providing quality education services to the number of students since its inception. The main aim of the institute is to bring innovation in the health sciences by producing highly competent and professional individuals and attain leading role in the field of medical science. The institute currently has 5 faculties, faculty of Medical & Allied Science, Surgery & Allied Science, Basic Medical Sciences, Community & Public Health Science and Dentistry.
