Mirpur University of Science & technology or MUST is one of the most renowned and well-reputed institute of AJK. The Institute was previously the sub-campus of AJK University but was declared a separate University in the year 2009. The University is situated in the city of Mirpur and currently offers 53-degree programs. The MUST University is the state-owned institute and currently has two campuses, one in Dhadyal, Mirpur while other in Bhimber District. The University currently has five faculties and offers various Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate programs. The faculties of MUST University include Engineering & Technology, Social Sciences, Science, Health and Medical Sciences. These faculties further have 22 departments. The main aim of the institute encompasses the growth of its students and provide the best quality of eduaction, so they could assume leading role in the country's future. The Institute has various research centres, State of the art labs and library and different student societies to encourage and discussion and debates among students.
