Oil And Gas Training Institute or OGTI is the government-owned institute dedicated to the petroleum sector of the country. The institute runs under the Oil & Gas Development Corporation Limited (OGDCL) and established in the year 1997 keeping in view the growing needs of Pakistan Petroleum Industry. The OGTI has emerged as the leading institute of the petroleum sector and managed to gain quite a name for itself at a very short time. The institute is playing a major role in meeting the training needs of Geoscientists and Engineers of OGDCL as well as other companies related to the petroleum sector. The institute main aim is to grow with the passage of time and meet the needs of all domestic and foreign-based petroleum companies. The institute offers courses in different disciplines such as Petroleum Exploration, Operations and Services, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering, Hydrocarbon Processing, Instrumentation and Process Control, Environment/Health/Safety and Petroleum Management
