Pakistan Institute Of Community Ophthalmology is the government-owned institute providing health & education services to its students. The institute was established in 1998 with the help of the International Centre for Eye Health, London. The institute is situated in the city of Peshawer and provides all state of the art facilities to its students. The institute main aim is to provide the best education and health facilities to its students and produce individuals who are highly talented and professional. The institute offers different educational programs and currently has 8 departments, Community Eye Health, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health promotion & Sociology, Optometry & Orthoptics, Opthomology, Allied Subjects, Nursing & Operation theatre training and Community Medicines.
