Sindh University or The University of Sindh is one of the Pakistan oldest and most prestigious higher education institute. The University is Government owned and it was established in the year 1947 and given the status of separate University in the year 1972. The institute is main campus in Jamshore and has some sub-campuses too, including one in Larkana. The Larkana campus was created in the year 2013 and its main aim is to produce competent, skilled and professional individuals who will perform their jobs with full dedication and play a positive role in the uplifting lower class of the country by making education common in the whole province. The institute Larkana campus offers multi-disciplinary programs and currently has 8 faculties, Law, Pharmacy, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Islamic Studies, Education, Arts and Commerce & Business Administration.
