The University Of Sargodha is the Public University offering multiple educational programs to its students. The institute was established in 1929 in Shahpur Sadr as a school but was later shifted to Sargodha in 1946. The institute was given the status of separate University in 2002 and since then transformed many students into competent, talented and professional individuals. The main aim of the institute is to become the globally recognized educational institute and produce highly professional individuals who bring innovative changes in the country socio-economic sector. The institute has multiple campuses and one such campus is in Sahiwal. The Sahiwal campus also is known as Command campus offers different educational programs and currently has 7 faculties, Science, Agriculture, Medical & Health Sciences, Arts & Humanities, Pharmacy, Social Sciences and Engineering & Technology.
