The University Of Sargodha is the government-owned higher education institute offering different educational programs to its students. The institute was established in the year 1922 as De’Montmorency College and was given the status of a degree awarding institute in the year 2002. The main aim of the institute is to produce skilled, talented and professional individuals by providing them with an excellent learning opportunities to its students and developing & enhancing their academic and professional skills. The institute has multiple campuses and one such campus is in Mianwali. The institute Mianwali campus offers different educational programs and currently has 10 departments, Botany, Chemistry, Business Administration, Education, English, CS&IT, Mathematics, Physics, Urdu and Zoology.
